A collection of five animations made by artist Gökhan Okur can be viewed on the Streaming Festival website for the whole month of July 2010.
Okur, who works as an illustrator set out experiments by adding time to his illustrations. From these experiments the animations occurred. His animation Last train ride was featured in the first edition of the festival in 2006.

The month of June sees a new videoart program focused on independent filmmakers on the Streaming Festival. This program - a reflection on today’s artists whose abilities allow them to integrate the cinematic process from writing to editing with stunning results - will take you on a journey through style and independent filmmaking.
From the outright eerie but captivating atmosphere and visual techniques of Ashleigh Nankivell "Helping Johnny remember", via the collage of 8mm footage, letters and pictures that were used in the video-essay "Mimesis" to the powerful animated feature The return of John Frum with an equally powerful sound design, made by Christian Schlaeffer.

There is an interesting exhibition coming at Stiftung Brasilea in Basel, Switzerland. If you happen to be in the neighbourhood do check it out.
It is with artwork from a married couple from Brazil; video’s from Alfredo Takashi Hisa (featured in the July program 2009 on the Streaming Festival), and the photographs of Miriam Homem de Mello.

The Streaming Festival is an art event for independent artists exhibiting unconventional audiovisual art from all over the world. This event takes place once a year.
However, each month another thematic program is broadcasted. VisualContainer started of the new year with their "Analog ready-made for digital redeem-aid" program
and now in February it’s CultureTV’s turn to show a program surrounded around the term "Generative X".

On 20 November the Streaming Festival, and its offline counter program: "Streaming Stills" were opened in the BH139 gallery in The Hague, the Netherlands.

On 20 November the 4th edition will exhibit more than hundred works of audio visual art from international artists on the Streaming Festival website. Ten days non-stop contemporary art, films and visual experiments, available at any time from any location.
